Company ethics

PERSONAL INFORMATION. All personal information which the company recieves about its doctors is treated with appropriate care and respect. Specifically doctors information will only be disclosed to potential employing hospitals with their consent.

DATA PROTECTION. At all times this Agency complies with the Data Protection Regulations that are in force.

NHS STANDARDS. Acute Medical deals with NHS hospitals working to standards set out in the NHS Executive Document “A Code of Practice in HCHS Locum Doctor Appointment and Employment” EL(97)48.

NATIONAL LIMITS ON TOTAL HOURS OF WORK. Acute Medical works with its doctors and client hospitals to ensure that any locum work undertaken is within regulations that apply to contracted hours or actual hours worked.

GMC STANDARDS. Acute Medical is focused to create an enviroment where its doctors are able to demonstrate compliance and adherence to the standards set out in the document Good Medical Practice, Third edition May 2001.
